2019 Leadership Seminar

WELCOME TO “MUSIC CITY USA”!! Alpha Kappa Alpha International President, Dr. Glenda Glover, welcomed nearly 8,000 members to her home city of Nashville, Tennessee, for the 2019 Leadership Seminar being held June 27-30. Among the 8,000 in attendance, Delta Omega chapter was well represented and had an amazing time!! Our chapter president, Dr. Nieta Scott-Dunmore even had the opportunity to march in the EAF Platinum Parade. 2019 Mid Atlantic Region Archives Day
On June 21, 2019, Delta Omega had the pleasure of hosing the 2019 Mid Atlantic Region Archives day on the campus of Virginia State University. This year's event featured an update and overview by the Virginia State University Archivist on the features and treasures currently housed in the collection; a history of the Mid-Atlantic Region's collection within the VSU Archives; an update on the work of the International Archives Committee; and a robust Q&A session.
